MISSION

The Mission of Moore County Transportation Services is to provide safe and efficient transportation services for citizens and clients of County agencies.

NOTICES

  • For new rider applications and/or trip requests for the purposes of employment for shifts ending at or close to 5:00 pm, contact the MCTS Office to verify ability to provide services.

  • As a result of COVID-19, services for the A-PINES Line have been suspended until further notice.

  • Moore County Transportation Services (MCTS) is NOT affiliated with Moore County Schools. If you have questions regarding transportation provided by Moore County Schools, please contact the Moore County Schools Transportation Department at 910-947-5481.

  • Moore County Transportation Services (MCTS) is NOT affiliated with the NC DOT Division of Highways. If you want to report an issue with the roads, please contact your nearest NC DOT Highway Division Office, or the applicable municipality if the road is within city/town/village limits.

TOKEN PROGRAM

Moore County Transportation Services provides transportation for Medical, Employment, Education, Pharmacy, and Grocery-related trips for Moore County citizens through the Token Program. This program is funded largely by grants from NCDOT to keep the cost of rides low for county citizens.

A-PINES LINE

NOTICE: Services for the A-Pines Line are currently suspended until further notice.

The A-Pines Line is a fixed route in the Southern Pines and Aberdeen area - the fee is currently $4.00 each per trip. This service is open to Moore County citizens and visitors.

This route will deviate within one mile from each designated stop upon request.
