Wayne Vest is a Moore County native with over 30 years of management experience. Mr. Vest has been employed in Moore County Government since 1998 and was previously employed in manufacturing. He has served at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners in the role of Tax Administrator for Moore County from 2006 to 2013 and appointed to serve as County Manager in March 2013.
