Sample Audit Count

On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 10:00 am, the office will be conducting a post-election accuracy check that is selected by the State Board of Elections. A bi-partisan team will hand count two samples (absentee by mail and PHC- The Fair Barn) and compare the totals with results of the machine counts. Required by state law, the sample audit count helps ensure the reliability of election results tabulated by the machine. This event is open to the public and it is not an official meeting of the Board of Elections Members. Any Member of the board who choose to attend will only be in attendance as an observer of the processes. If you have any questions please contact the office.
